OIX 1310 Low-Cost Trackball Keyboard

Our OIX 1310 features large wrist rests with a two-button

trackball pointing device in the center. Full-travel keys make

this keyboard suitable for typing, not just occasional data entry.

Not only is it very comfortable to use, the OIX 1310 is the most

reasonably priced rack-mount trackball keyboard we’ve found.

It uses 13.5" of rack depth, with a handle that protrudes 1.9".

The OIX 1310 has PS/2 trackball and keyboard connectors and

includes USB and DB-9 serial adapters for the trackball connector.

OIX 1410 Metal-Frame Trackball Keyboard

The OIX 1410 is mounted in a rugged aluminum and steel case

which slides in and out of the rack housing. Its compact 2-button

trackball is centered under the space bar and emulates a serial

mouse. The keyboard slides out with ease and firmly locks into

position, yet it can be unlocked and put away with a single finger.

A latching door protects the unit when not in use. The door

is spring-loaded for easy opening and closing. The OIX 1410

provides an excellent tactile feel, a full 104-key layout (including

two Windows® keys and a right-mouse-button key), and a curved,

comfortable wrist rest to make typing a pleasure. The OIX 1410 is

available in beige or black enclosure versions (please see ordering

information box at right for more details). If you need a keyboard

for a hazardous or contaminated environment, please consider

the NEMA 4, 4X, and 6 keyboards listed on page 105.
